Cupping Therapy For
Shin Splints
Medial tibial stress syndrome (shin splints) responds to cupping along the shin and calf, reducing periosteal inflammation and muscle compartment pressure.
How Cupping Therapy Helps
Cupping the anterior and posterior compartments of the lower leg reduces the compartment pressure and periosteal inflammation that causes shin splint pain. Combined with massage to the gastrocnemius-soleus complex, it provides rapid relief.
Common Symptoms
- Shin bone pain

- Tender shin to touch
- Gradual onset leg pain
- Pain with impact activities
- Anterior lower leg ache
